Greatly reduces time and effort when splicing mono to Dacron/Braid. Heat hollow end of needle, insert mono, and thread needle into the Dacron/Braid.(12+ feet recommended)  For the splice to work it is necessary to seize(waxed rigging floss) the ends of the splice, and every 3-4 feet(recommended)
